A Resistance furnace installed power distribution

① Box furnace: door installed with 1/3-1/4 power;
② Pit type furnace: L/D = zone number (L: height, D: diameter)
③ Continuous furnace: power distribution determined by technology curve, but also increase the power at the furnace mouth;
④ Furnace temperature and power distribution:

a. 1200 ℃: 15-20Kw/m2;
b. 1000 ℃: 10–15 Kw/m2;
c. 700 ℃: 6–10 Kw/m2;
d. 400 ℃: 4–7 Kw/m2.

B Industrial furnace heating time requirements:

① Use the refractory furnace lining:

a. Small furnace: 1.5-2 hours;
b. Medium furnace: 2-3 hours.

② By using of fiber furnace lining:

a. Small furnace: 1-2 hours;
b. Medium furnace: 1.5-2 hours;
c. Continuous furnace: heating rate (Max.) 50 ℃/hour.
